'Akhilesh' tells the story of a young fan and his journey of hope and heartbreak through the Indian election cycle; exploring the process of devotion and deification through his favourite candidate's twp consecutive electoral losses. Performed in July 2025 at the Bloomsbury Theatre in London as part of Platform (I) 2025. Exhibited as a dual channel film in 2026.
